Adiel Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 I got office 2003 with sp1 slipstreamed, and its weight was 600MB.i've downloaded Office Shrinker , and the new install is 7(!!!!)MB !can it be?! in my "FILES" folder i got some folders, and only one dll file and one XML file and one setup.ini file..can it be?!

godan Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 first off, read the whole post that you downloaded Office Shrink from, second, you didn't run it on an admin install is my guess... but you did something wrong.
Adiel Posted October 7, 2004 Author Posted October 7, 2004 i did an admin install..i got office 2003 5 in 1 i used the setup.exe located in E:\OFFICE\E = MY CDROM DRIVEi used /a command to make an admin install.. and now i;m reading the post

CoffeeFiend Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Actually, I gave up on it a while back too. There is NOTHING to mess up, it's just too simple. Every single time I run it, I get a 6 or 7 meg folder too. And yes, this is the english version as well. I've re-read, followed by steps, tried everything and it never worked. I would have liked to get it working, but I got other priorities
