crossgrid Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 has anyone have windows script host installed/enabled in winPE? I wanted to make sure that i can write vbs scripts before i write them and find out you cant.TIA
likuidkewl Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 You can, by using buildoptionalcomponents.vbs see your OPK docs for more info.
EvilNotion Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Yeah, I've done it, and vbscripts do work. You will still want to test them though because I think 99% of the functions are available.

EvilNotion Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Run the BuildOptionalComponents script from a full-blown windows install. It takes command line arguments (such as where is your source XP CD, etc).. it'll dump the folder on your desktop with the files you need to copy into the WinPE source.
