Nero 6.6 is out!

silent install is pretty well the same as it was with other nero packages.

1. right click the Nero*.exe that you downloaded

and choose 'Open with winRAR' from the drop down menu

2. from the winRAR headings go to 'commands' followed by 'add archive comment'

3. copy/paste and Overwrite anything that is there with the entire text from below

Setup="nero 6\setup.exe" /SFX /SN=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx /WRITE_SN /SILENT /NO_UI /NOCANCEL /NOREBOOT

Overwrite=1
Title=Nero 6.6.0.0 Ahead Software AG

EDIT:

1. of course the xxxx-xx's need to be replaced with your supplied serial number.

2. when i tried to reduce the size of the exe, i also had errors on install.

so this method makes the runonceEX.cmd coding much simpler.

i remove the other folders i don't need, i hv slimmed it down to 52 mb

i just test it... it works

but it says it is a demo even if u enter a valid serial?

either that... u don't have a valid serial no.

let me play a little with the installation i think i've found a solution to shrink nero6 and solve installation problems...

i encountered another bug. using the sfx method described above...

when u try to uninstall nero from add / remove it won't uninstall.

strange!
