Regielya Posted September 28, 2004 Share Posted September 28, 2004 what updates are for the SP2, in the UNATTENDED forum, the sticky thread says it has only 2 updates, but im sure there is more... and in the thred, it writes: "NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1"... what about the "NET Framework 1.1"? doesnt we need it before we install the SP ? However, I created an installer which has SP1 integrated into it. It's available for download from the site I linked you to in the other thread. RyanVM Posted September 28, 2004 Share Posted September 28, 2004 It most definitely is not installed with SP2. And yes, .NET 1.1 SP1 is a critical update if you have .NET 1.1 already installed. The main fix it brings (securitywise) is that it fixes the GDI+ vulnerabilities present in .NET 1.1.If you don't have .NET 1.1 installed, you obviously don't need critical updates for it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
