Charro Greg Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 i had to reformat, my hard drive, reinstall windows xp home but when i try to activate windows xp i get a error message that activation can't be completed at this time. is there a problem with the activation server, any ideas? jpatto Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 Are you using the same machine as you originally used when you first installed XP?Have you tried to activate your product via the phone and tell them you reformatted your drive?
