Test Zero Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 You'll loose all your data if you set Repartition to 1.
elduderino Posted September 7, 2004 Author Posted September 7, 2004 HiThanks for the replyThe answer to supply is Yes or No, and your telling me 1, which is it supposed to be!I am not bothered about losing DataThanks
pegasus1010 Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 [Data] AutoPartition=1 or 0[unattended] Repartition=Yes or No
Vann Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 1 or 0, yes or no, true or false, it's all boolean baby. Anyways, Repartition="Yes" will cause Windows Setup to destroy all your partitions and make one big partition. If you want that, set it to yes. Repartition="No" causes Windows Setup to install Windows on the first available partition, keeping your existing partition table intact. There is no user input either way, it just depends on what you want Windows Setup to do.
Astalavista Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 If your planning to use Repartition=Yes make sure you warn whoeverwill be using your Unattended XP that they MUST backup their data first.Deadly to use if you only have one hard disc
argon007 Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Yeah, if you want to set 1 for Repartition, you must backup the important file. If you don't have important file, then you can use that.It is not recommended for MIS in the big company unless they have "backup" concept.
