gamehead200 Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 One question...Let's say DELL has an order for 15 computers for a company. Do they put the same key on all 15 computers or different ones?
Lezend Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 for Dell: Each comes with its own CD. I orders 3 before and each has its own CDs key.
Guest Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 Each comes with its own CD. Yea..I ordered 2 Dells last December...for Christmas Presents....Different CD's, CD Keys, Software Backups, Driver Backups..
gamehead200 Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 Then how is it that when my dad got his computers at his office, they all had the same PID and CD-Key? Could they have activated them all at the same time?

Could they have activated them all at the same time? The company your Dad works for probably obtained a Volume License Key (VLK) from M$,which means all their machines use the same key.
