bucketbuster Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 I read once that it can be done.Make sure that you makecab your own picture.makecab yourpicture.jpg bliss.jp_or something like that.EDIT:Try it in VirtualPC or VMWare to see if it works.
prathapml Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 The default wallpaper can be set to what you want, check out this thread:set wallpaper unattendedA simple search would have shown up that.....
mwiner Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Yes it does work. If you do some searching in this forum you can see other people's resutls. Don't do what I did and just delete the file. It kinda makes Windows mad.
Astalavista Posted August 25, 2004 Author Posted August 25, 2004 sorry about the post. not too sure if the old method would work on service pack 2. made a mistake with the logonui.exe and it crapped out my system.bec. the old method does not work for sp2.well i will give it a go.
prathapml Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 not too sure if the old method would work on service pack 2In fact, the technique is the same for win2k/XP/2k3, no matter what service pack level is employed.
