takuma2004 Posted August 19, 2004 Share Posted August 19, 2004 Hi everybodyI have scanned my whole system with AVG Anti-Virus program. I found a trojan horse. But i don't know what to do with this trojan horse, should i delete it or what.I have not deleted it yet because it looks like a system file or something like that. jroc Posted August 19, 2004 Share Posted August 19, 2004 What has happened....that Volume System Information...is your "Backup"...seems one of your System Restore Points...contains a Virus.....you are safe unless you decide to restore that particular "date".....you should delete the complete "restore point'....your anti-virus software will not be able to delete it...since it is a 'Protected" Backup..... You should run a full system scan with proper Anti-Virus Softwaer, as the only way the file got there is if there is an additional copy on your system. I would recommend Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
