Error on Boot

What are the causes of getting the following error when bootinga computer:

"No Signal"

Dead video card, disconnected cable from video card to monitor, or bad cable connected to monitor.

If the video card is dead, you would most likely also get about 4 long and loud beeps from the system when you turn it on.

could also be a bad ram or a ram that is not properly attached.

take the video card and ram out and put them back again.

Check if the vga-card is plug-in correctly into the AGP-slot

if the card is not correctly in, it will give beeps (like Justice says)
