Flash OCX for SP2 2180

Recommended Posts

I use these for flash and shockwave:

ECHO.
ECHO Installing Flash and Shockwave Player
ECHO Please wait...
start /wait %CDROM%\Software\Flash\Flash.exe /q
start /wait %CDROM%\Software\Flash\Shockwave.exe /SILENT

perhaps not as fancy but certainly does the job.

that guide says to rename flash.ocx to swflash.ocx and then compress it. in sp2, it should not be renamed. there is a file in the i386 folder called flash.oc_. if u expand it and check properties it is macromedia flash 6.

My original inf looks like this (Norwegian):

[strings]
productname="Shockwave Flash"
GUID = "{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}"
GUIDFACT = "{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}"
DefaultName = "Macromedia Shockwave Flash"
ComponentID = "Midlertidig ledig-signal"
VersionNumber = "6,0,79,0"
LocaleID = "NO"

Should i make the new one like:

[strings]
productname="Shockwave Flash"
GUID = "{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}"
GUIDFACT = "{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}"
DefaultName = "Macromedia Shockwave Flash"
ComponentID = "Midlertidig ledig-signal"
VersionNumber = "7,0,19,0"
LocaleID = "NO"

?
