MadGutts Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 Can anyone help my little confusion....When XP first came out, I got a copy of XP Pro Corporate Edition....Does this differ from XP Pro in any way? or is it a marketing ploy of MS? Any info would be helpful...Thanks Guys...... + Gals !
gamehead200 Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 Its the same thing as Pro, except it doesn't need to be activated because its a Corporate copy, meaning it was made to be installed on multiple computers without the hassle of activating every copy...
jroc Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 rumor has it...that MS had a dis-gruntle employee...pressing CD's in the manufacturing line...i think his name was Devil something or other...anyways...somehow a defective CD was made of Corporate Version..and rumor has it if you try to install any Service Packs for XP....your hard drives will explode...and the CPU will fly out of the Case and set the house on fire......
Doggie Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 mmm.. rumor is true, sometimes may even infact fly to the moon and recover mars moon rocks.. the joke section isnt too far away from here
