Crowgoth
I need to have batchfiles or scripts run at startup with ERD commander and add desktop shortcuts does anyone know how I can do this???
gosh
erd commander is just winpe with a different shell. You could try the standard ways of running batch files in winpe. Check winternals website, they might have an article showing you how to do tihs. Since erd commander uses a documents and settings folder, maybe you could add stuff to a startup folder?-gosh
likuidkewl
For the desktop, add your entries into the DT.CFGAnd my guess to launch batch files would be modify the setupreg.hiv..... On second thought I don't know about this because I know the flow in ERD is all about hardcoded *.EXE's It is worth looking into.
BeenThereB4
I was interested in this also. I can tell you that the Documents and Settings folder does not work. Reverse engineering the SuperERD indicated to me that you have to import registry settings on the fly to add shortcuts. It appeared to be more work than I wanted to do at that time. Good luck and let us know if you come up with anything.
Crowgoth
Unlike WinPE the ERD registry is locked, the only hiv file I can load is setupreg.hiv the others default, sam, security, and software will not load.
