Customized ERD 2003

Recommended Posts

erd commander is just winpe with a different shell. You could try the standard ways of running batch files in winpe. Check winternals website, they might have an article showing you how to do tihs. Since erd commander uses a documents and settings folder, maybe you could add stuff to a startup folder?

For the desktop, add your entries into the DT.CFG

And my guess to launch batch files would be modify the setupreg.hiv..... On second thought I don't know about this because I know the flow in ERD is all about hardcoded *.EXE's

It is worth looking into.

I was interested in this also. I can tell you that the Documents and Settings folder does not work. Reverse engineering the SuperERD indicated to me that you have to import registry settings on the fly to add shortcuts. It appeared to be more work than I wanted to do at that time. Good luck and let us know if you come up with anything.
