Doggie Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 well you dont necessary buy from a big company.. most of the there more expensive then generic products that can do the same job.. anti-glare and anti-static would be good.. of course less glare and no static like an old tv resolution is your screen size, for eg "65 Hz" will take longer to refresh your monitor and may notice flickering, higher than HZ, the better the quality..
HyDeNCiTy Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Viewsonic, Phillips, and a couple of other companies make great Monitors. I prefer Viewsonic, they have outlasted time and abuse here at my job. so... I would go with them.
XtremeMaC Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 I prefer samsungI personally don't like anything that philips makes...viewsonic okay, Nec was ranked the 1st for a long while on chip magazine.. but i don't really trust chip. checkout tomshardware...and don't buy hp monitor (if they even have one) I personally buy printers from them. their laptops suck! as well as compaq stuff...
