stickboy3k
You can mount this boot drive manually by adding this command in your boot.ini file:"C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons"where C:\ is your recovery partition( change it with you own computers recovery partition).Do I need to unhide the partion first with partition magic? I tried the boot.ini thing and it didn't work.Really wishing HP would just ship recovery cds with their pcs. I've got 2 of them here, both needed to be reloaded and neither have recovery cds. Call them up and complain a few times, I did and they sent me a full 5 or 6 cd recovery set and a Microsoft Windows XP Home OEM CD also.
