TTT24 Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 Hi there,I have a huge problem with internet explorer. Though netscape works fine, IE initially wouldn't work, now I open it and it says "AKIRA" with and underline and the title of the page says "Rat & Tat Webserver" though when I check my "properties" under "file" it says the address is whatever I put in "yahoo.com etc." I tried to update windows, but you need IE to update it - so I tried to remove IE to reinstall it, but WINDOWS WON'T LET ME REMOVE IT!!!! I have Windows ME and the latest version of IE (6.0 or 6.1). Can anyone help? Thanks so much in advance! Oh, one other thing - before IE crashed whenever I went to google.com on IE, it directed me to the GERMAN version of the site for some reason. When I search "rat and tat" on google almost all german sites come up. Thanks!
TTT24 Posted May 6, 2004 Author Posted May 6, 2004 what would be a correct forum for this question? Thanks!
gamehead200 Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 What version of Windows are you using? I will move it once you mention it!

msu Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 Hi, You can remove Internet Explorer by using IEradicator, get it from here: http://www.litepc.com/ieradicator.html You can change your preferences in google by clicking here: http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en
it_waaznt_me Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 I think your title bar would be saying Yahoo Provided by Rat & Tat Whatever... If that is so then you dont have to worry .. Goto www.javacoolsoftware.com and download SpywareBlaster ... Install and run it .. In the Tools section ... Click on Misc IE Settings .. In the IE Window Text section .. Change it to Microsoft Internet Explorer .. Or Enter Your name if you like .. :-p .. Click Apply .. you are done ..
