mutahir
Hello All,I recently bought a PIV Intel, it says it has 1 GB RAM, how can i be sure that the ram installed in it is DDR and if its DDR what is its SPEED? Like they say DDR 2700, is there any software which will tell me what memory I am using and would even tell me the speed of my memory. Thanks and regards to all...Mutahir
Macrohard
It seems to me your best bet would be to check out your motherboard and then look up its specs. Just hit start-allprograms-administrativetools-systeminfo. You should get enough info to do a search on your manufacturers home page. Good luck. Chaosratt
DDR has one notch in the stick, SDR has two notches in it.As for the speed, run a system utility program like Sandra to get that.
Bâshrat the Sneaky
1. It HAS to be DDR as it is a P4 3.00 GHz; a recent P4 supporting motherboard does NOT exist!2. Use a program that can check this for you. There are many, many programs that can do this for you! for example:-cpu-z-wcpuid-aida32-...
