I had actually been using Win7 miniOS, but those ISOs are never smaller than 5gb, so the freshly installed system is always bigger than what I search for. I remember same thing happening when XP came out. Already had Win98 working perfectly, completely sorted... and then I had to learn everything from scratch again with an OS that seemed designed for id i o t s. And now look... I could hardly let it go..! Transitions aren't easy. The rule that newer is always better seems to hold true. In this case, we waited 20 years... just to be sure.
