David Silaban Posted March 29 Author Posted March 29 Hi guys, a little update.. I tried to install Windows 95 OSR2 + FIX95CPU it works quite well no errors, even with the USB Legacy Option enabled. But when I tried reinstalling Windows 98 SE again even with the patcher9x fix it still gave me the same hang, it cannot even boot to the UI if USB Legacy Option is enabled in the BIOS. The installation also hungs if I just use HIMEMX, if I use JEMM386 then it will not hang and continued through the setup successfully.

Another thing I tried is this problem exists when I run Windows 98 Setup, press Continue and after the 1st loading progress bar, I hit cancel so I got back to DOS. I tried doing stuff like "mem /c /p" a few times and when I left it around 30 seconds, it stops responding to any keyboard/touchpad events.
