lamaq
I'm trying to create an unattended XPCD. I followed all the steps from the MSFN page but when I boot the CD it says "inf file error textsetup.sif missing (error code 406)". I've checked that the file is actually in i386 folder and is unchanged from the original. The only thing that might be a bit different is that my XP CD came with SP1a already integrated. killerbee
hi,try to rebuild the image if it doesn't work copy over the original files from the CD to your UXPCD-location and try again.Seems to be a corruption problem of some kind.cyaKiller Bee

[BM]Crusher
if the error specifically statestextsetup.sifas the file that it cannot copy, that is actually the wrong file name (should be txtsetup.sif)if it really is telling you "textsetup.sif" is missing, check your dosnet.inf or similar and make sure there are no extra settings for a "textsetup.sif" to be copied...
