Motley Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 (edited) StartAllBack is a wonderful program, worth paying for on every PC I've put it on. There's one other feature I'd love to see - the ability to reorder/unstick icons of the same program on the taskbar. Here's what I mean: I often like to setup my programs on the taskbar in a specific order such as: Outlook --- Chrome --- Pycharm (repo 1) --- Chrome --- PuTTY (server 1) --- Pycharm (repo 2) --- Chrome --- Putty (server 2) In Windows 11, however, programs of the same kind must be grouped together Outlook --- Pycharm (repo 1) --- Pycharm (repo 2) --- PuTTY (server 1) --- Putty (server 2) --- Chrome --- Chrome --- Chrome Grabbing (for example) one of the Chrome taskbar icons to reorder it will automatically grab ALL Chrome icons, which are glued together. Even worse, it's not possible to reorder the icons within a group. If I accidentally opened github repo 2 in PyCharm before I opened repo 1, I cannot reorder the two PyCharm taskbar icons. They are stuck together in the order they were opened. There were tools back in the Windows 10 days (e.g. 7 Taskbar Tweaker) that could unstick icons so they could be reordered individually. Could StartAllBack do that as well? Thank you! Edited May 28, 2024 by Motley
Tihiy Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 Taskbar2 alpha version allows to reorder tasks within a group.
