Corrupted add-ons

Featured Replies

I can't install any add-ons on Mypal browser 68.14.1:
https://addons.palemoon.org/extensions/
“This add-on could not be installed because it appears corrupted.”
I am using Windows XP SP3.
Any help?

There used to be an old MyPal browser which was based on Pale Moon,

but Mypal68 is based on Firefox, not Pale Moon, so you should install Firefox versions of extensions on it.

Unfortunately, you are completely wrong. Extensions from the Pale Moon website are legacy ones for browsers based on Firefox up to version 56 as, for example @roytam1's browsers or Pale Moon itself, of course, whereas you need to install so called webextensions which you get from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ Of course, you can install only those that are compatible with Mypal 68 which is based on Firefox 68. But on this website, you will clearly see which extensions are compatible or not. If you are interested in more information about extensions and more targeting Mypal 68, then you can read in my special thread I created exclusively for this purpose: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183657-mypal-68-in-windows-xp-custom-buttons-and-extensions/

I 've received same error during the installation of a extension compatible with FF67.

Can you try  https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/3862036/multi_account_containers-8.0.1.xpi

Yep, same here. It does not work in Mypal 68. You can test in Firefox 68 Portable and up if it is working at all. As I already wrote in my thread, not all extensions offered as compatible can be installed in Mypal 68.
