Media Foundation Update breaks games

hi i'm new here.
after i installed the media foundation update
most of my games stopped working.

does anyone know what is going on? thanks.

Media foundation update fixes youtube videos in firefox but breaks Windows Media Player and also other media-dependent programs, and the update cannot be redirected locally.

The solution to this is to install K-Lite Codec Pack.

Or even better revert back Media Foundation to original, bc your solution won't fix Windows Experience Index, and for Firefox you need to redirect Windows 7 Media Foundation
