patricktbp Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 I am looking for USB 3.0 Drivers for Vista but can't seem to find anything except for dead links. I was wondering if anyone had any USB 3.0 Drivers that work for Vista x64. My CPU is a Intel Core i5 4590S (idrk what chipset) And the mobo is a ASUS H81I-Plus Please help!
winvispixp Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 don't get too exited to use vista as you have a haswell cpu which causes the os to not boot properly 1
Vista4Life Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Vista x64 doesn't work properly on Intel haswell and later cpus. You need to use Vista x86.

Cockatiel Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Here is also generic USB 3.x driver also backported from 8.0 for Vista x64 for those which hardware can run Vista properly (such as Intel 3rd gen and older as well as Intel 12th gen and AMD pre-Ryzen): GenericXHCIDriver-x64.zip
winvispixp Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 (edited) weren't these the drivers which were causing BSODs while used with newer nvidia drivers? Edited March 5, 2023 by winvispixp
