Guest MSNwar Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 How do I copy a 700.81 MB DIVX.avi file to a 700 MB CD using NERO 3.8?Thanks
FthrJACK Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 turn on "disc at once"how come you are showing up as unregistered.....
MSNwar Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 disc at once, thanks.I don't know. I am using a P2P client if that has anything to do with it. I wondered about that myself.
Aaron Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 Why are you accessing MSFN thru a P2P client? Why Nero 3.8?
MSNwar Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 I am not accessing MSFN with the client - I am accessing MSFN with IE6.I am just running the client at the same time and thought maybe that has something to do with it. I seldom run the client at all.Thinking about what I was doing before I made the post I remembered I backspaced with IE6 rather then use the links. Old habit I cannot seem to break. This will be my first attempt to copy this type of file to a CD and I only have NERO. Is there a better method?
Reverend Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 This will be my first attempt to copy this type of file to a CD and I only have NERO. Is there a better method?First of all i would suggest you get the latest version of Nero 5.5.8.2 hereJust burn the avi file like you would an ordinary data cd.
Aaron Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 Theres Nero 5.5.8.2, might have better features to handle this sort of thing really.
MSNwar Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 disc-at-once and nero 5582, thanksI was concerned about trying to burn 700.81 Mb to a 700 Mb disc since the file is greater than the capacity of the disc, but I guess it will work. Many thanks,
Aaron Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 The capacity of a 700mb CD-R is actually 703mb, but the box/case says 700mb to round it off.
MSNwar Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 Dude I knew you would know.I have always wanted to ask you this ...Are there any tricks like the one in the past from the tutorial you created? Thanks,
Aaron Posted June 16, 2002 Posted June 16, 2002 You mean the guide I made on making a bootable XP CD in Nero?
MSNwar Posted June 16, 2002 Posted June 16, 2002 Yes. But for the thing I am doing. That guide is a hall of famer
Aaron Posted June 16, 2002 Posted June 16, 2002 Someone else made the instructions, I asked his permission to make it illustrated and make a site on it, he said to go ahead
MSNwar Posted June 16, 2002 Posted June 16, 2002 I wonder how he knew what information to fill in the blanks. You both deserve feathers in your hats
