xtreme1 Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Win 11 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 Steps to reproduce 1. Unlock taskbar from primary 2. Move taskbar to secondary monitor 3. Lock taskbar to secondary 4. Change resolutions (or change primaries - step to trigger can be different things) 5. Sometimes the taskbar gets covered up by applications like chrome when you maximize them. BUT not by other apps like the windows 11 system menus. A related bug is that on the primary screen, where the taskbar doesn't exist, Windows settings app behaves like there is a taskbar beneath them, leaving a "taskbar height" at the bottom when maximized. Notice the extra black at the bottom. Chrome continues to ignore the taskbar. A temporary (and tedious fix) is to go into windows taskbar settings, and enable the taskbar on all monitors. Then disable them. Now Chrome & windows apps behave consistently until resolution or primary monitor changes
xtreme1 Posted February 1, 2023 Author Posted February 1, 2023 (edited) It seems this is a chrome bug and has been around for quite some time. Also it seems pressing F11 twice is the fastest solution. UPDATE: Never mind, that doesnt work for startallback - only works for stock toolabr. So there's no easy workaround.
