lubierzca Posted Saturday at 11:47 AM Posted Saturday at 11:47 AM (edited) I can still see the bug while hiding taskbar with keyboard shortcut (win+alt+t), it doesn't actually hide it when dynamic transparency is enabled. It works when app is maximized (which stops taskbar from being transparent). EDIT: I've just noticed that keeping dynamic transparency and hiding the taskbar itself when window is maximized, it starts to show taskbar again when un-maximizng a window, which is actually a cool feature (although unintended I guess) on its own, as in - hiding taskbar when non-maximized or maximized window touches the top edge of the screen, and showing it again when no window touches the top edge of the screen. Previously, it was possible to do this using ExplorerPatcher, but it is not available on Windows 11. It is possible to run ExplorerPatcher on Windows 11 and restore the taskbar from Windows 10, but this would require completely abandoning StartAllBack, which I do not want to do. When the taskbar is at the bottom, the thumbnail previews don't bother me, but I find it more convenient when the taskbar is at the top, so it's more convenient for me and they don't get in the way. lubierzca Posted yesterday at 03:50 PM Posted yesterday at 03:50 PM (edited) @Tihiy I don't know if that's a bug or something you've changed (as I didn't noticed that in release notes), but changing tray icons to show Windows 11 flyouts now allows to show those flyouts without merging all the system tray icon like in current Windows 11 taskbar, but it's a fantastic change and I thank you very much for that! AFAIR it wasn't working like that before in older versions, it was still merging all system tray icons into one icon like on Win11 right? Edited yesterday at 03:54 PM by lubierzca
lubierzca Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago @Tihiy one more thing - I've noticed that toggling Action center icon visibility doesn't actually change the SysTrayActionCenter value in registry, because of that I can't disable that icon when deploying SAB and its config through script for example. It doesn't change the icon visibility either when I change the value directly in registry.
