MacroRecorder crashing

I am trying to use MacroRecorder with Windows 7.  It works normally until it closes, and then it crashes.  I plan to use it for sequential macros and need it to reopen again, but it cannot because it is froze up from the crash.  Here is the information from Windows that the crash generates:

I have also found that all I have to do is open the software, do nothing, and then close it, and it gets this crash.

Unsolved mystery.

Try the latest version. The described issue does not seem to occur on Windows 7 x64, though it does on Windows XP x86. I doubt they test on anything else besides Windows 10 x64.

I downloaded it from the Macrorecorder website.  Do they not have the latest version?

The latest version is 2.0.65f, you have some version in the 2.0.57 branch, judging from the crash report. From the website, it's not clear whether they re-release same versions and just add a letter when they change something minor.

Okay, with version 2.0.65, the crash notice appears from the software instead of Windows.  It says:

"EAccessViolation

Access violation at address 00408EDA in module 'MacroRecorder.exe'.  Read of address 0506F0E8."
