Vista dosent want to update

so basically i got an error (code 80244019) trying to update vista

I really want to try the externel kermel (made by win32) and i cant update

Any solution?

also yh im using a vm that may be the problem

 

I tried restarting Windows update service, didnt work.

Yeah, Windows Update broke because they killed SHA-1. I do see that it's for security reasons, but most likely it's just to add insult to injury for the Vista / XP community.
