Hi all,

I use virtual pc 2004 to test my installation, but "the real thing" I want to test is the t13-t12 moment.

But everytime I change something in my installation, I have to wait anaother half an hour before it gets to the t13 moment.

Is there a way to get there quicker????

Thanks

u can pause(save, i forgot the name of the command in vpc but there is one) your install at t-14 then resume it everytime u change something..

also how many minutes does it take for u to get to t-13 mark?

if its so slow change the cpu given to vpc, it'll go smoother.

or switch to vmware...

To test with minimal delay do the following:

Create a dummy batch that calls your main batch and insert a "pause" before that.

Let the setup run to that point a make a snapshot (in VMWare).

You can now edit your main batch or perform other tasks via Shift+F10 which opens a second cmd window.

To copy new files to your disk you could create an iso image with e.g. UltraIso and mount that image as a second cdrom.
