Mcinwwl
As in the topic, are there any realiable TH forks for Windows XP? Just like BasiliskXPmod/ New Moon for the browsers? All i need is to receive security updates after thunderbird jumped onto FF 60 ESR fork.
IntMD
The only thunderbird fork i know of that isn't quantum-based is binaryoutcast's 'interlink mail & news'. Roytam makes XP-compatible builds of it (along with the browser suite (Borealis)), so you're in luck. Edited January 19, 2019 by IntMD
Sampei.Nihira
In my opinion Interlink is a still immature email client. Very difficult to configure multiaccount especially if IMAP and POP. The use of the email client is not as intuitive as Thunderbird. Thunderbird 52.9.1 was released on 10 July 2018. The only free email client I found with the most recent release date is: https://www.claws-mail.org/win32/ Excellent security level: https://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerability-list/vendor_id-12415/Claws-mail.html Comparison with Thunderbird 52.9.1: https://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerability-list/vendor_id-452/product_id-3678/version_id-266352/ I would like to give Claws Mail a chance soon. __________________________________________________ Edit. Does not work !! Edited April 15, 2019 by Sampei.Nihira

Sampei.Nihira
I finally managed to configure Interlink. 3 IMAP accounts + 2 POP accounts While the IMAP accounts are entered in the list on the left in automatic mode, the POP accounts are present only if we deselect the appropriate box. New emails are not automatically checked when the client is opened. At least it seems so to me. Edited April 16, 2019 by Sampei.Nihira
