For unknown reasons , it failed to work on my laptop where XP works with csm enabled but it worked on my desktop.

Reactos is adding UEFI to freeloader. I am looking forward to that which will surely work with hal patch.

As with any other hardware that omit documentation - first check whether Linux sources exist.
