I got a message from MSFN that says the following.

Hi Mike13

TestingThings has posted a comment on a topic Malwarebytes Antivirus

TestingThings said    TEST2

Then there is a box that says "Go to this post" If I click on that, it takes me to a question that I asked about Malwarebytes Antivirus

last year sometime. However there is no post from a TestingThings.  The last post was from Tripredacous in December 2017

Any clue as to what is going on here ?  Thanks,  Mike

Yes. It's yet another forum software quirk. You ought not be pinged by the forum... it was just a test performed by one of our SMods. Do please ignore it, and sorry for the inconvenience!

No, that's wrong. It's not a software quirk. He was notified of responses that were posted. The forum software is behaving as it should.

@mike13 I was using a test account and deleted the posts within a minute of making them. You're supposed to receive notifications as soon as posts are made to any topic you follow.
