How large is your DVD image? If above 2gig VPC 2004 wont boot.Probably try Daemon tools or Alcohol.

DOH! neverminddamm 2gb limit i dont have any dvdrw to test it with...witch ones would be better never used em before + or the -?
April 10, 200422 yr @XPC-001like Maverick already said you don't need to burn it to test it.Load the ISO onto a virtual drive using Alcohol 120% or Daemon, then capture the virtual in VirtualPC to test it.as for which format is better....I prefer +'sThey're closer to the DVD spec so there are theoretically less incompatibilities with standalones. Also, the + format won't have the same issue - does with newer media on Older drivers.

But dont worry I have issues with Daemon tools not quite mastered it yet.I have all formats an LG multi that does +,- & Ram & a Ricoh +. I really dont see the difference at all mind you have not sampled the Ram as media is so bloody dear.
