visual c++ redist packages go like this

vcredist 2008

vcredist 2008 SP1

vcredist 2010

vcredist 2010 SP1

etc...

but they are all same size and archive contains i guess updated files

so question 1. - do I have to install just SP1 ones, or RTM and SP1

my friend rtm is real runtime and sp1 is service pack

You need only the latest. I.e. if you have SP1, you don't need RTM.
