Lt.Kippo
I'm having an issue with AeroGlass. Everything is fine when pluged in. If I switch to battery AeroGlass also stays running fine, but if I reboot on battery aerohost.exe does not load, yet if I go into task scheduler I can run the task manually and it loads fine on battery. I've even created manual shortcuts to aerohost.exe run as 'System' which work fine when mannually launched, but when placed in startup folder nothing happens. Running windows 10 on SurfaacePro 3, clean, new install.
dhjohns
If you go herehttp://www.glass8.eu/download.htmlThere is a link to "Testing version of GUI application to modify Aero Glass parameters." Download, and place in your C:\Aeroglass folder. Open the file, and under the System tab you will find a checkbox to allow it to run or not to run under battery conditions. Lt.Kippo
Thanks, already done that , and checked both user and system registry keys for the battery flag. both are correct.
bigmuscle
Hello. I would check the task in the Scheduler. There may be the option "Not start on battery".
Lt.Kippo
Yes, It's there. Again funny thing is when on battery the log file for aeroglass remains empty, but I can still manually start the aerohost either through scheduler or even with a command prompt run as system. Even when I make a .bat file it works fine manually, but never auto starts even with the RUN registry key or the Start Menu autorun folder. Unless on AC power of course. I just can't figure this one out.
