We know the bug in Windows 8.1 in certain dialogues (When delete a file/folder, copy…)

Exploring a bit I discovered that deleting all icons size 256x256px in imageres.dll (and replace it) the bug go away. But it is exhausting eliminate about 300 icons for any app/soft. Any interested in investigating this error and solved?

Another way to fix it's set the display/screen size (dpi) to 200% (maximum) , but it 's all a bit bigger in sight.

* Sorry for my english.

Since it's just cosmetical I'd say it's better to ignore it and concentrate on fixing the functional problems.

BTW, even the fixed one has some aliasing. :)

I'm having trouble seeing a problem here with Windows 8.1...

And, LOL Andre, I'm not sure I'd call this "fixed" in any reasonable sense...

Though, to be fair, it could be worse than that :ph34r:

That's how it looks in Win10?!

Noel: The icon problems are finicky, affected by random settings or conditions.

(Why does the forum not show the image at 100% size even though there's plenty of space?)

Oww, come on, that one is clearly a fake!

Windows Executive 10 only runs Office Cloud 2016 , and that would be README.DOCX ;).

I don't know what you mean about the DOCX. :whistle:

I take it back.  There is a definition of "fixed" that seems to apply...

The changes we see in Win 10 cannot help but reduce the overpopulation of Windows 10.
