jffulcrum Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Had someone archived 10.4 drivers from Supermicro? Both links in topic are dead, and seems like that driver cd is lost on supermicro site, CD CDR-X7-UP_1.30_for_Intel_X7_UP_platform.iso contains 15.5
Dave-H Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 What are you trying to do? What is the motherboard, and which operating system?
jffulcrum Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I`m just interesting, may the 10.4 package contain newer drivers for Win98, than 'Intel`s official last' 10.3.
Dave-H Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 The earliest Supermicro CD that I have is from July 2014, and that has version 15.5 of the Intel Ethernet driver on it. I may have had an earlier one from the first 32 bit Supermicro board that I had, but I guess I didn't keep it when I updated. As Supermicro only make server boards as far as I know, I would doubt that any of their installation media has Windows 98 drivers.
jffulcrum Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 (edited) I`m finally found Supermicro CD with that version of driver supermicro.com/wdl/CDR_Images/CDR-X6_1.13_for_Intel_X6_platform.iso . Unfortunately, drivers in 'WIN98' folders are byte to byte the same as Intel's 10.3, release 8.0.27 . So we have a tombstone here. BTW, in what topic here people calls for detectives to find missed updates? I have quite a numerous list of unsolved losses. Edited November 13, 2024 by jffulcrum
Dave-H Posted November 13, 2024 Author Posted November 13, 2024 What a shame, but I'm glad you found it anyway!
