bookie32 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Hi Guys! I have a customer that I have just built a computer for and it has two drives. A SSD 250GB and a WD Green 2TB.This customer wants several user accounts and I recommend moving them to the 2TB drive to give them more space etc. What is the best way to go about adding password protection for these accounts on another drive? Thanks! bookie32
bookie32 Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Hi guys!OK! this didn't go anywhere...What about password protecting the hard drive? All users would be on the D drive but only the administrator would be able to open the d drive directly....? Can that be done? bookie32
bookie32 Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Hi again!OK! Solved this by just having my customer as the administrator and the others as standard accounts. So, even if I move them to the d drive I can protect my customer's files from prying Eyes.I share her folder and choose herself as the person she is sharing with....that way anyone else wanting to gain access will have to remove/ crack her password...I know this isn't a fullproof solution - but for the level of knowledge in her business...no one will work out how to gain access....lol bookie32
