May 6, 201412 yr A right-click->properties through explorer yields two tabs only: general, and sharing. I checked entries in regedit and gpedit and settings restricting the folder from being moved are not selected. Also, when I displayed the My Doc folder on the desktop, a right-click-->properties yielded "The properties for this item are not availabe" Edited May 6, 201412 yr by xmf

May 8, 201412 yr You're welcome.Could be due to a registry cleaner removing the entries needed for My Documents to function properly. Re-registering that file adds them back.

May 8, 201412 yr I have used CCleaner for years and have never experienced any problems like what happened to xmf. Cheers and Regards
May 13, 201412 yr CCleaner is really tame, I can say it too (I was using Advanced SystemCare before, more aggressive but with no problems too - relevant to its cleaning work at least).
