strekship Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 I found out today that WinISO makes defective ISO's. If you are haveing problems with an iso created by winiso, then DELETE it from your system and use a diff program like winrar.

Datalore Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 Yeah, WinISO is fine for small things, but it can't seem to handle large (3+ GB) ISO's at all. It just crashes on me. CDImage is the way to go, but make sure to get the version that doesn't have Microsoft's address burned into it. (For those of you who don't know, cdimage has Microsoft's address and contact info embedded in it. I have no idea what its for, but I've heard it gets burned into every cd you make with it... whether or not that's a security risk is beyond me.)
