Drive spins then stops

Hello,

I have seagate momentus 5400.6 320GB 2.5" hdd. I connect to PC. It spins up for a while then stops. PC bios cannot detect it. I connect it to imager. It stuck in BSY state. It also spins up for a while then stops. I use usb to ttl adapter to communicate with my bricked hard drive. The result is as below:

I use putty as terminal program.

Is it firmware problem or mechanical problem or both?

Check again the adapter and the connections (and the speed settings)

Then see if you can get to the terminal with ctrl+Z.

Seei f you can issue a:

F3 2>U

Check with this:

If you get a DiagError 00006008 likely heads are "gone".

I have checked again. It's the same. It spins for a while then stop spinning. After it stop spinning, I cannot issue any command including ctrl + z. What is your comment?
