Can't install Visual Studio Express 2012 in Windows 8

I am trying to install VS Express 2012 on my windows 8 machine, but I keep getting an error that says "Fatal error during installation."

Run the installation as Administrator?

Which AV suite do you use? Have you modified the permissions of C:\Users\André\AppData\Local\assembly or C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL? I can find the file on both folders.

The problem was fixed when I installed it through the web installer.
