bphlpt
What I assume is happening is that someone is making an entry to the poll. I think that shows up the same as a post as far as "recently updated" is concerned. But that's just a guess.EDIT: Or maybe it has something to do with the recent database updates? Whatever it is, it is annoying.Cheers and Regards Edited February 2, 2013 by bphlpt
CharlotteTheHarlot
This is what happens in Opera as well. But if you look at the main XP Forum page, the little green icon shows up ( it means new poll hit ) rather than the little blue icon ( means new replies ).vinifera, next time it happens, first hit the main XP Forum page and see if it is blue or green. I suspect it will be green. It is clearly by design.I'm actually amazed at the precise metrics that the board software returns and that the browsers manage to correctly track and interpret. bphlpt
Where vinifera might be going is to the Show Active Posts, that's where I go. I would guess the blue/green icons there will mirror those on the XP Forum page. Thanks for the info. I didn't realize the full meaning of the color difference. I think that should be browser independent, but I could be wrong.Cheers and Regards
jaclaz
That's normal.A poll is "updated" (and thus "bumped") every time a member votes on it (anonimously, i.e. without actually posting anything to the attached thread).jaclaz
