FixitUP Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I am using Easeus and I want to merge 25 Gb of unallocated space with the D: partition.I searched and could not find out how.C: is the primary partition.I already tried merging D: with F: ( 25 Gb) but that did not work. What is the trick ?Thanks, Andy
Ponch Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 The trick is to know the minimum info about the order (physically, on the disk), the size and the properties of the partitions that is required to perform that operation if it is possible. Drive letters are irrelevant. Are you booting from an external disk ?Also what has this got to do with "Programming" ?

C++, Delphi, VB/VBS, CMD/batch, etc.) I thought etc. might cover my question. :-)What I did was move the unallocated space in from of the drive that I wanted it to merge with. Then I expanded that drive into the unallocated space.
bphlpt Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Also what has this got to do with "Programming" ?I doesn't really seem to be a "Software" issue either, but since there is not a "File System Issues", for lack of a better name, or "Disk Management" category, I guess it will doCheers and Regards
Yzöwl Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 It has a Software destination because the question is how to use a specific piece of software, Easeus, to perform a specific task, merge unallocated space to a specific partition.
