February 19, 201214 yr Yes. You can use up to 512MB of RAM with unmodified Windows 95 B.Beyond 512MB, modifications are required. See this thread for a complete list of collected info regarding larger amounts of RAM.That Microsoft KB article (KB181594) is very misleading. Windows 9x cannot use that much RAM without RLoew's RAM Limitation Patch, which will allow you to use up to 4GB with Windows 9x.
