Best File Recovery Software

Hi folks!

Looking to recover data deleted accidentely from a hard drive.......

What is a good program for recovering deleted data?

When I googled...every report was different?

Don't want to waste money on a program that can't deliver...LOL

For me, the best free one is photorec.

And as for the best non-free , it's r-studio.

But i suppose depending on what kind of file system and file types some others might be a lot better suited for the job.

I second R-Studio. Although not free, it's worth every single cent I paid for it.

I have tried photorec...brilliant! I like the script that sorts out the files afterwards..nice! TestDisk the partner to photorec gets a lot of good press....I even looked at CAINE (ComputerForensics Linux Live Distro) and they include photrec and TestDisk..
