bookie32 Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Hi folks!I use gmail for my email and haven't had a problem before... I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed and IE9. OK! I print my mails as pdf at times and at the moment IE9 is making a hash of things...I usually click on print out my email and then choose the option PDF....Everything goes OK a new window opens to show me the file to be saved and then as I have saved it it opens as PDF...this is where it goes pearshaped...the file opening is all symbols and not my original open file?I shows the basic format of the file I want to save, but has changed the text to gobbly gook....LOLIs this anything anyone has come accross?bookie32
bookie32 Posted May 27, 2011 Author Posted May 27, 2011 Hi again!Am I right in understanding that no one has had this problem?bookie32
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Can you tell us which PDF maker you are using? Maybe it's something with Unicode support or font embedding?
bookie32 Posted May 30, 2011 Author Posted May 30, 2011 Hi Sp0iLedBrAt I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro if that helps...Thanks for stopping by.bookie32
allen2 Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 You might try this and see if it solve your problem.Did you tried with another browser ?
bookie32 Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 Hi allen2!Sorry, bit late in responding to this thread.... I have tried firefox and it is OK...The even stranger thing is I receive many emails from a particular company and certain emails can be printed as pdf no problem but others can't?!It must be some encryption....?bookie32
