So, the number of passwords that the non-average Joe uses is increasing, especially when every article about online security advises users to have different passwords for their e-mail, Facebook, forum and other types of accounts. Add your PC login (maybe even BIOS) and archive (.rar, .7z) passwords + the fact that a certain complexity is required (unlike the example iheartbieber), and you can really see that one of the better possible solutions would actually be a password manager.

Apart from the ease of use of the GUI, it would be nice that this application has a back-up option for what is already stored in there, just in case you need a quick OS re-install and a quick import of that file (can that file be encrypted?). I also like the idea of remembering only one password for the use of that application, instead of writing them all down, as many people do.

That's why I'd like to ask for your recommendations. Do I just go for Google's first choice, KeePass? I'm not adding links because I'd like to get them from you. If there are enough hits, I may even turn it into a poll.

Cheers
