brutus1234 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) I have found this update on amd's site, it is a tiny registry update for amd boxes with agp motherboards. Can hfslip slipstream it?If it can, is it harmless to integrate it in a generic installation CD (which can be installed on an intel box as well)? Yzöwl Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 To install using HFSLIP just extract the .reg file to the HFSVCPACK directory. If you want it only to run on a particular platform then your best bet would be to use a .cmd script, integrated with the registry changes, which firstly identifies that platform. Then place that .cmd file in the HFSVCPACK directory.
brutus1234 Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 So, my script should detect the processor vendor (amd), then the processor model (Athlon, Athlon XP, Athlon MP, mobile Athlon 4, Duron), then if the motherboard has an agp port and finally integrate the registry patch... I'm sorry, this is way too much for my cmd knowledge...
